Quality Chinese translation is here!

With China's increasing international clout, its interaction with the west, especially the English-speaking countries, has never been more active. In the meantime, the west is becoming increasingly interested in China's culture, traditions, and most of all, its enormous domestic market made up of 1.3 billion people. However, language has always been a barrier hindering the establishment of meaningful communication between the two sides and that is where a qualified translation/interpreter such as myself comes in.

Taking a break during a simultaneous interpreting assignment in Melbourne

I, Jiang Yu, founder of Lingofish Translation Services, aim to provide you with first-rate English-Chinese translation and interpreting SERVICES so as to bring you infinitely closer to the Chinese-speaking population, be you a machine-selling businessman or an academic that wants to spread your ideas to the east. Regardless of the form of the communication, whether it is written or verbal, I will make sure that the message is conveyed across to the target audience in a way that is not only syntactically correct but also culturally appropriate.

I received prestigious EDUCATION both in China and Australia and was professionally trained and sat highly demanding examinations to become a QUALIFIED English-Mandarin interpreter and English<->Chinese translator accredited by NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters), Australia's accreditation organisation in the translation industry.

I have accumulated abundant EXPERIENCE through working with many of the leading international companies and agencies on large translation and interpreting projects. Some of my career highlights include brochure translation for Nikon, website localisation for Marriott, game localisation for CCP (developer of EVE Online), training materials translation for SAP, technical interpreting for Baosteel, conference interpreting for AbbVie, FM Global, Dior, Newell Rubbermaid, and acting as a court interpreter for the sensational Lin-family murder case in Sydney, to name just a few.

Given my academic background in accounting, I am naturally adept at translating in the fields of accounting, business, finance and laws. However, my SPECIALISATIONS really go beyond the aforementioned four areas as I believe that a good translator should be versatile enough to work with materials concerning vastly different disciplines, which is why I am also competent in the fields of arts, IT, literature, pharmacy and photography, etc.

Despite that, I am well versed in utilising cutting-edge translation TOOLS, such as SDL Trados and MemoQ, which means that not only do I translate accurately but also I do it fast and smart.

All in all, if you are looking for someone to help you overcome the language barrier and tap into the world's largest market, you have come to the right place. Give me a call or drop me an email. You will not be disappointed.
