Certification vs Accreditation: What's the Difference?

"NAATI-certified" and "NAATI-accredited" are often used interchangeably — but they're not technically the same. NAATI replaced its accreditation system with certification in 2018. Today, a Certified Translator (CT) is the credential required for official certified translations. A CCL credential is separate and does not authorise the holder to produce certified translations.
